Originally formed from a partnership between the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) to maximise the performance of Australian athletes ahead of the Sydney Olympics, Catapult was officially founded in Melbourne in 2006.We encouraged Catapult to bring their current sit/stand desks with them – why waste something perfectly good?! We worked around them with a specification to suit the design of the fit-out and the existing kit. Herman Miller Sayl chairs we’re a fitting choice of Task Chair, Sixteen3 Bodyn booths on castors to provide flexible meeting space, Frovi breakout furniture and Elite meeting room furniture with a huge, bespoke boardroom table all complimented the scheme incredibly well. Creating an environment that is efficient and enjoyable at any time, we made sure that all parts of the office can be utilized for a variety of activities. We also installed a ping-pong table which has proven to be extremely popular.
