RDC Aviation is a forward-thinking business that isn’t afraid to challenge workplace norms in order to improve its workspace, productivity and company culture. After a period of rapid growth, RDC acquired a fantastic new space in central Nottingham, able to facilitate its growing team and future growth plans. We were delighted to be chosen as RDC’s furniture and design and build partner, and we worked closely with the team to develop a creative, contemporary and branded scheme for the new office space. The agile nature of their new workspace encourages the team to work differently and spend time away from their desks in a collaborative environment. Fun features, such as the departure board, are an ode to the nature of the business, and breakout spaces such as the games area have transformed the space into a sociable hub for employees to enjoy spending time in.

We refurbished and extended a space that didn’t reflect the Connective3 branding any longer, transforming it into a hybrid workplace, all while creating an enjoyable and collaborative experience – so that their team can be happy and thrive in their roles. From doubling the amount of space for more desks, to developing more meeting and zoom rooms, we wanted to ensure we are creating an enjoyable experience for their team to work both individually, but also as a team. Key changes included, but were not limited to opening up and extending the original space, enabling them to have more working and socialising spaces to match their rapidly-growing headcount, a fresh new look with added greenery and signage to create a positive and creative workspace and a key event space to run internal and external events, complemented by a bar with a Prosecco and Beer tap.

When we were approached by Rise at Seven to design their second office in one of the most vibrant areas in Sheffield City Centre, we knew this will turn into one of the most inspiring places to work. The new Rise at Seven HQ has been transformed into a branded interior that houses all of the features and equipment the extended team needs, along with an office cinema, a bar, ergonomic workstations, a conference room and a great social area overlooking the city’s skyline. By introducing biophilic elements such as blossom trees. artificial green living walls and plenty of office storage planters, we have managed to bring life, colour and energy and create a workplace that feels less like an office and more like an agile space where employees feel motivated and inspired.

As GB Bank looked to break into their new market position of supporting property developers, we were delighted to be their chosen partner to deliver a bespoke headquarters. Through a combination of GB Bank’s unique vision and our in-house services of workplace consultancy, interior design, fit-out and furniture consultancy, we have collaboratively created a truly connected, inspirational and flexible space that will propel GB Bank into the new decade. The new space includes a client and colleague lounge, a meeting suite with various sized meeting rooms, a generous open-plan workspace complete with Herman Miller task chairs, bookable private offices and a quiet room. We’re absolutely delighted to have worked with GB Bank and wish them all the best for the future.

InfoTrack approached Absolute to develop a plan for their new base in Leeds, as they expand their business throughout the UK. Through Phase 1 of the project, we implemented agile working solutions that promote touchdown laptop working and offer a variety of settings for employees to use beyond their desk. Employee wellbeing was a key consideration in the design, with two rooms adapted as Quiet Rooms or Wellbeing Rooms that cater to all employees’ needs, particularly those who require space to practice their faith or have neuro-diverse requirements. Thanks to various settings and easy video meetings, InfoTrack has the flexibility to work effectively from this space. Sustainability is a core concept of this design, and we utilized biophilic design, as well as fabrics from a nearby factory, such as flax-based fabric with each colorway named after a local area of London. In addition, we used recycled plastic bottles for chair upholstery. The addition of subtle woodgrains creates a warm and natural feel in this space.

We were delighted to be selected by Bellway Homes as their partner of choice to design and deliver their new Durham HQ at Rainton Bridge Business Park. Through our workplace consultancy service, we made it our business to understand the DNA of Bellway Homes Durham and how they operate to ensure our design was not only sustainable and stylish, but also functional and future-proofed. Through our space planning and interior design services, we created an on brand space with clearly defined zones to support each key function within the business. Our furniture team selected a range of ergonomic furniture pieces to support them with day to day tasks whilst boosting the wellbeing and usability of the space.

We had the privilege of carrying out the furniture scheme at North Brewing Co’s fantastic new space in the heart of Leeds. Our team of specialists developed the new North Bar Tap Room from the ground upwards, and this was no ordinary interior to develop. Encouraging flexibility, durability and choice, long tables we’re specified to create the true ‘taproom experience’, along with stylish and robust stools which are easy to move to squeeze a couple of mates in!

We developed the existing space to allow students to spend more time in the building, with the aim of creating a truly student-owned space, with more agile working spaces available in the daytime and social areas available at night. We created a wide-range of environments through the use of different products. Bespoke benching, high tables, classic dining settings and softer seating areas give the students choice to how they work and play. Vice chancellor of the University of Buckingham, prof. James Tooley said: “This will really help students to socialise and study together in top class surroundings.”

Curve Digital are artists who specialise in making incredible imagery for the car industry. Working with Curve Digital on their new office space was a thrilling collaboration. We were delighted to have the opportunity to reveal our design and specification acumen through this project, making sure that Curves’ work took centre stage in the finished product. To achieve an elegant atmosphere throughout, we incorporated neutral elements such as wood and metal and into the base palette of colours; with added organic curves in the furniture choices- for a truly dynamic scheme. Featured pieces of furniture throughout the scheme such as the Herman Miller Aeron chairs and the Workstories Bodyn booths which provide stylish shelters which offer a space to meet, relax or focus. The result is an energizing workspace where stunning artwork takes priority!

Originally formed from a partnership between the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) to maximise the performance of Australian athletes ahead of the Sydney Olympics, Catapult was officially founded in Melbourne in 2006.We encouraged Catapult to bring their current sit/stand desks with them – why waste something perfectly good?! We worked around them with a specification to suit the design of the fit-out and the existing kit. Herman Miller Sayl chairs we’re a fitting choice of Task Chair, Sixteen3 Bodyn booths on castors to provide flexible meeting space, Frovi breakout furniture and Elite meeting room furniture with a huge, bespoke boardroom table all complimented the scheme incredibly well. Creating an environment that is efficient and enjoyable at any time, we made sure that all parts of the office can be utilized for a variety of activities. We also installed a ping-pong table which has proven to be extremely popular.
